Andrew Fyffe

Andrew Fyffe is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist at The Children’s Hospital Institute of Sports Medicine (CHISM) at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney. His roles include performing vestibular/ocular, neurocognitive, balance and exercise testing on children and adolescents with concussion in order to establish return-to-activity/school guidelines. From this, Andrew is able to prescribe physical and cognitive activities designed to progressively build up exertional tolerance and get each child back into the classroom and sporting field effectively. Andrew is also an experienced researcher who has published articles on activity readiness post-concussion and exercise testing as a method of determining recovery trajectory.
