Ché Phillips

Ché graduated from Griffith University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours and Bachelor of Exercise Science. He initially worked in rehabilitation on the Gold Coast and then in the United Kingdom, exposing him to a wide range of neurological and other conditions. In 2009, he sustained a severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while riding a motorbike down Springbrook Mountain on the Gold Coast, falling 40 metres off a cliff. Ché returned to work, initially in Melbourne then on the Gold Coast. In 2019, Ché relocated to New Zealand where he joined the leading community neurological service Laura Fergusson Trust Rehabilitation. He has since returned to the Gold Coast as Senior Physiotherapist in the Community Therapy Team for Medibank “HealthStrong”.
