Jennifer Cullen

Jennifer is Chief Executive Officer of Synapse Australia Limited and has been with the organisation for 16 years. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at both Griffith University and James Cook University and, in 2019, was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of the University from Griffith University. Jennifer is a community services professional with over 28 years’ experience working in disability and aged care services. In 2013, Jennifer was appointed to the National Disability Insurance Scheme’s (NDIS) Independent Advisory Council as the Queensland Member and was reappointed in 2016 and again in 2020. Jennifer is a descendent of the Bidjara and Wakka Wakka people and has extensive networks with Indigenous people and communities across Queensland and other parts of Australia.
