Professor Alistair Nichol

Professor Alistair Nichol is a senior intensivist at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and St. Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin, the Deputy Director of the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care-Research Centre at Monash University, Chair and Professor of Critical Care Medicine at University College Dublin, the Chair of the Irish Critical Care-Clinical Trials Group and Director of the HRB Irish Critical Care-Clinical Trials Network. Professor Nichol has been awarded over $50 million in research funding and has published first author manuscripts in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Medical Association and The Lancet.
