Sophie Brassel

Sophie is completing her PhD at The University of Sydney within the Discipline of Speech Pathology, her research focused on the design and development of virtual reality applications to manage cognitive-communication disorders following Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Before starting her PhD, Sophie worked as a speech pathologist in hospitals where she provided assessment and treatment for people with swallowing and communication difficulties. Sophie regularly provides clinical education to speech pathology students in the areas of adult language, speech and swallowing disorder.
