Stefanie Bird

Stefanie is a Research Assistant and Project Coordinator within the Australian Institute for Musculoskeletal Science, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Department of Medicine at The University of Melbourne. Her research spans: identifying risk factors for early ageing; investigating the epidemiology of post-stroke and COVID19-related neurological manifestations; the development of implementation strategies to reduce fracture in Australian aged care facility residents; and the effect of repetitive head impact and concussion on early ageing, particularly the impact on cognition, behaviour and brain biochemistry.
