Will Devine

At age 15, Will sustained a severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) after a motorbike accident in his hometown of St. George in Western Queensland. After he was taken off a ventilator and emerged from coma, Will was unable to walk, talk, read or write. He used the next decade of his life to “harness my neuroplasticity…This enabled me to re-build, re-wire and re-harness all of life’s most basic and fundamental abilities that I had lost to my injury”. Now 27, Will is an Occupational Therapy student at the University of Queensland.
